2014: TWINK AND LINDA MAKE UP ...BUT ONLY IN A PAINTING! Irish Independent. 2014

With Christmas upon us, Irish artist Dearbhla Feehan is hoping 'the spirit of goodwill' will extend to Twink and Linda Martin. The two panto dames have been at war since last May when Linda alleges she overheard Twink beling less than complimentary about her following a performance of Menopause: The Musical in Co Mayo.

However, the pair are reconciled in Dearbhla's painting Give Peace A Chance (above), which given the John Lennon of The Diary this week, we could'nt not publish. 'War is Over' if you want it', as the song goes. We rang Linda (pictured above). 'I tend to doubt that. I have had no contact with her. I cant forgive and I cant forget the words. Friends are very precious to me. I have some going back 30 years, " said Linda, whose run in Christmas panto Cinderella with Jedward in the Olympia starts on December 22.

The Diary did'nt manage to contact Twink but we can assume she wont be any friendlier than when she came face-to-face with Linda in the Grand Canal Theatre last August for the opening of musical Fame. "I have'nt spoken to her, and no, I wont," Twink told The Diary on the night.
