Tom Nisbet (1909-2001) was a Belfast born watercolour artist who studied at the Dublin Metropolitan School of Art. His work was exhibited with the Dublin Sketching Club, the Watercolour Society of Ireland and the Royal Hibernian Academy, of which he was elected a member in 1962.
Nisbet was also responsible for founding the Grafton Gallery in Dublin in 1944, which aims to provide a space for new and upcoming artists to show their work.
